Westvoorne is made up of the municipalities Oostvoorne, Rockanje and Tinte, and is a community known for its environmental beauty and recreational facilities.
Voorne's Duin is one of Western Europe's most important nature reserves, thanks to its outstanding flora and fauna. The unique biodiversity and the many things to do and see, make Westvoorne a great destination for short breaks or longer stays. The beach, the forests and the dunes offer a great background for cycling, walking, surfing or horseback riding, to name a few activities.

Voorne's Coast
The Haringvliet dam is the start of a 6 mile length of beach via Rockanje to Oostvoorne. But Voorne's coast is more than just sandy beaches and sea: the coastal area offers a varied landscape. Different parts of the beach have their own character determined by their facilities, their possibilities and their surroundings. Rockanje's family beach is perfect for an animated and pleasant day at the beach.
